nuBack
nuBack waist and back support brace is a patented device that I developed while at nuyu. From concept to production I would oversee and develop every detail. Initially I created the brace, then proceeded to source 3/4" braces for the supports. I sewed several prototypes of the device until we were happy with the finals. I researched the fabrics and looked into possibilities of using technologies available for the fabrics. I researched all of the trims and units of construction. I engineered the device to have additional height so that the garment would not roll- up. I worked with our patent lawyer to explain how our brace was different than the other braces currently on the market. Finally, I created this very detailed brochure to be distributed at HHS.

With the launch of nuyu Wonder Woman collection that I designed, we (me and the COO) told the website company to add images to the site. We directed them on exactly how we wanted the site to flow. However, the guys would not comply, so I took over the site. I created the new menu and created all of the content for the site (on Shopify). I also added google analyitics to the site, in addition, I added facebook and amazon - which drove traffic and increased sales.
The nuyu collegiate line was the core collection. For this image; I took the best 5 images from the photoshoot and created this compositiion.
