First visited New York in 1989; and knew that it was home. By September 27, 1996, I permanently moved to New York City. I have been a part of many industries including retail display, nightlife, fashion, beauty, legal, medical, printing, production, manufacturing, web, and software.
I have been a vegetarian since I was 4, and with 20 years of working in the fashion industry I understand the importance of sustainability. 'debris nyc' started as a clothing line that I created in the 90's that was a combination of reusing materials and odd trinkets and trims that were used to create interesting club apparel. I have sewn punk, cyber, stage and plus. Creating original patterns and 'one of a kind' pieces.
